Karla Zorrilla is a book artist and printmaker that has recently graduated from MA Publishing at London College of Communication. Her personal practice explores the book from its physicality and communicative capacity as well as the possibilities of sensory connection with its reader. She studied Printmaking at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), where she worked as a teaching assistant in the Printmaking and Photography section. In 2015 co-founded Membrana Ediciones, an independent press focused on print and small-edition. Her work has been exhibited internationally at publishing art fairs and printmaking biennials; and is currently held in collections such as the Artist's Books Tate Library Collection, FAVA Fundation , SVA Library and PUCP Printmaking Specialty Archive. |
